Transitions between Pit-a-Pat and Rolling Back-fists

Use a step-drag and pivot to switch from pit-a-pat to rolling back-fist, the pivot will change which foot is in front. The back-fist is thrown from the front hand where pit-a-pat is done from a rear hand punch. When transitioning from rolling back-fist back to pit-a-pat, notice that the rear hand punch is now using the opposite. This is a fancy way of switching the dominate hand.

Both Sagang Labo and Rolling Back-fist are done using the lead hand. I listed two methods to go from the hook punch to the back-fist. Going from the back-fist to the hook punch is simple, just throw it. Reversing the dominate hand will be done during the time you are in rolling back-fist.

Pit-a-Pat

Partners face each other in a closed stance. Begin with a rear hand feed. The receiver defends with a lead hand check (lead hand forward mid block) and rear hand mid outward block, lead hand continues in a forward motion grabbing below the elbow while the rear hand grabs the wrist, a slight pull ends the defense. The defender now becomes the feeder by throwing a rear front punch. Rolls switch and the flow continues indefinitely.

Two-Count Switch (switching the punching hand during the flow)

During the rear hand outward block redirect their punch down and across, switch your guard, then feed twith your “new” rear hand.
